Organized Tours to:
Morocco 2010

We had such a good time on the Morocco trip last May and early June that we are back again, hoping to travel with you.

David Sondervan (I hope I spelled that correctly) did a magnificent job in handling both English and Hebrew speakers last year.

It was wonderful of David to show up at the airport to greet those going to Morocco last year, especially since it was at 2 in the morning. We look forward to hearing from you and look forward to a wonderful adventure in China.

Tour to Morocco

Hi Liora,

I am back home since a few days and I wanted to give you some feed back about this experience with your group in Morocco.

Actually I liked it very much all toghether. My regrets was not to have seen Essaouira but I realize that it would have been very difficult to include this city in the program that was already quite full.

Congratulations for the organization and also for the two guides that we had. Efi and Motty, each one in his particular role. I want to say that Efi's knowledge of Morocco was impressive as well as his patience and kindeness with the group and with the Moroccan people he had to deal with. Motty was a great help. He was very king with Marie and myself. He translated for us everything Efi said in Hebrew, and contributed a lot in many other ways to the success of this trip.

Thank you again to you, to EFi and Motty.

Letter of Trip to China

To Shai,

"Thanks for everything" you gave us on the tour to China on July  2006.  This was  the first time that we decided to try an organized  tour. We were a bit apprehensive – we did not know what to expect.  Eventhough we came as part of a group of friends from Haifa, we still were concerned, who would be the others on the group?  Will the tour guide be as good as expected?  What will we see?  Will we see enough sights?  And other questions of that kind.  Well, not only were we not disappointed, we got a new perspective, a great one, about organized tours.

The guide, Agi Kaufman, was extraordinary.  Knowledgable in all the areas of the places we visited, including education, health, religion  and  astrology . In addition she is a lovely woman, friendly, socialble and thoughtful.  She also did her best to pamper us with a variety of excellent meals.

We thank you Shai, because we know that behind every successful tour there is someone who makes sure that it will be so.  We felt that you and your company do the utmost to make us feel the best in the world and ensure that we will indeed enjoy ourselves.

The trip was such a success that we don't stop talking and dreaming  about it.  This opens up the door for more tours with Shai  Bar Ilan .

Thank you again,

Trip to China - 12 Days

Dear Shai

After each trip we take, I always write to my friends about it.  Here is an excerpt from the letter I wrote about the recent 12-day English-speaking tour to China:

The tour company was Shai Bar Ilan Glatt Kosher Geographical Tours.
It was the 4th time we were on one of Shai's tours, so you see we are satisfied customers....
Shai's tours are always well organized and professional.
We were fortunate to have Liorafrom his staff with us, as she is an expert on China.

I think she knew at least as much as the local guides.
She was always friendly, patient and efficient....

Shai, Liora performed over and above her line of duty.  Nothing was too hard for her to accomplish.

TOUR TO RUSSIA

To Shai Bar Ilan Travel:

מעולה is the least adjective I can use, it went far beyond that in one of the most glorious trips we have experienced.  It was well planned and precise, designed to get the most for the time available.

Hedva, the tour guide, was warm, tender and considerate.  I was most appreciative of the fact that she was our guide.  Our best wishes to the entire company for a KETIVA v'HATIMA TOVA

SCANDINAVIA

Two weeks ago we returned from your Scandinavian trip..  It was wonderful.
The hotels were wonderful , the weather great, the group was fantastic., the busdriver, wonderful but the most important information for you, as the company that organizes these trips, the leader, Menachem, was wonderful, as was his most capable assistant, Chaya.

Letter re Tour to Thailand

Dear Edna,

I would like to take this opportunity, to write you about our recent tour to Thailand.  The tour was a real success and I would like to give you and your organizers all the credit.  The organization was excellent, the people that participated were very sociable, and we had lots of fun.  Agi, the tour guide, was great – she is sensational.  She is warm, wise, intelligent and assertive in the positive manner.

Thanks again

OUR TRIP TO RUSSIA – June 26-July 5, 2006

We left Israel early on Monday morningThe delicious El Al breakfast made the flight less boring We were met by a guide and her great big smile.

Then, were “supposed to” drive to Moscow in an hour, that was many-a-mile.
Free drinks, courtesy of Shai Bar Ilan, we had And, the rain poured down really bad.  Enough rain to cover the rest of the week In which the sun shined and we had lots of heat.

Then, began our touring and many things we did see Palaces, museums, statues, until tired we did be Up the steps, down the steps, oh, so many.
To avoid them we’d gladly have given more than a penny. Entertainment shows, the circus, ballet, and stunning folklore Wonderful singing & dancing and magnificent costumes galore The Kremlin, churches, synagogues and Red Square And, many beautiful maidens all so fair.

Two boat rides, along the Moscow and Neva River. The weather was warm and we didn’t shiver Even took a hydrofoil to Peterhof, on the boat our lunch we ate Saw the cascade waterfalls and the magnificent gardens of Peter the Great.

Saw many synagogues, including the Great Synagogue, Chabad, and Lubavitch, too Met with many nice Jews, more than a few We learned about architecture and even art Thanks to David, who made us all so smart.
An overnight train ride from Moscow to St. Petersburg we did take.

That was an experience and for “togetherness” it did make Poor David, a Russian man as a companion the train did supply But, after an hour in the corridor, in his own compartment he finally did lie.
Trains in the Moscow Metro system we did ride To get down, steep & fast escalators we rode side-by-side To daven each day, the men surely didn’t forget Shachrit, Mincha, & Maariv they prayed, you bet!

In the mornings, the women helped set the tables Hard-boiled eggs, cheeses, sliced bread, cucumbers and tomatoes; We learned so much about Russia from all he did us tell.
We’ll never forget the red wall, green towers, and white & yellow buildings with the golden domes They looked almost like our Israeli homes!

Arrived back in Israel during the middle of the night Oh, to be back and see our own country, that was indeed the best sight.
David is #1, and in our book is really swell He taught us about Russian architecture, art, and much more.
After lots of walking, boy, were our legs ever sor.
Beautiful chandeliers and each station with its own theme.

Trains came every minute, like in a dream.
Our group of 24 got along so wellEach and every one in his own way was swell; We’ll remember this trip for many-a-year.
These valuable friendships we’ll hold most dear.

Letter about Trip to Scandinavia

Dear Shimon and Sima,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the marvelous and exciting tour to the green and wet lanscapes of Scandinavia.    Thank you Shimon for the efficient organization, your deep knowledge and explanations of all the places we saw, including the economic, geographic and demographic issues, and ofcourse the knowledgeable and detailed information of all the areas we visited.

The Shabbat meals were delicious, just like home-made, and served in the best of taste, thanks to Sima's special attention to all these details. The hotels were high classed and the famous fish meals were special.

Thanks again for the enjoyable tour.
